Drunk ex-Navy SEAL Who Faked Attack by ’3 Black Men’ Posts Bizarre ‘Obama Choke-Out’ Video
In the video embedded below, ex-Navy SEAL Chris Heben and a friend wearing a Barack Obama mask enact a “choke-out” scenario like the police killing of New Yorker Eric Garner in what appears to be a bid to hit as many offensive topics as possible in one home video.
According to Talking Points Meno, the video was posted on Dec. 10, but is only now gaining attention.
The clip begins with Heben — who readers may remember from his attempt to stage a racist hate crime by shooting himself in the abdomen and claiming he was attacked by three black assailants — wrapping his arms and legs around his friend and business partner Mike Lemire in a pantomime of a choke-hold.
“9-1-1!” shouts Lemire from behind the plastic Obama mask. “Call the SEALs!”
“We’ve been consuming alcoholic beverages and coffee, and Mike’s got a vapor rolling,” explained Heben, referring to Lemire’s e-cigarette. “So we’ve got, like, nicotine, caffeine, and alcohol on board and, so, you know what, this is, this is very real.”
For the rest of the video, the two men trade off sarcastic jabs at the president and defend the CIA’s record of torture in the wake of the terror attacks of September 11, 2001.
Then, at about the 10-minute mark, the two men repeat the choke-hold maneuver, rolling around on the couch together with Lemire again wearing the plastic Obama mask.
Heben’s company SEAL Team Consulting bills itself as an all-purpose fitness, security, management and apparel company that will prepare clients “physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually to overcome adversity and to arm you with the resiliency needed to defeat any obstacles that life places in your path.”
“From the media and mailbox, to the bar and the boardroom, and even from inside our own minds, we are constantly being bombarded with messages of negativity,” says the company’s website. “It’s never too late to become the person you always wanted to be. Start your mission today.”
In September, police in Ohio arrested Heben and charged him with falsifying an account of a violent encounter with three black assailants who Heben saiddisrespected him and shot him because he is a white man.
Bath Township Police Chief Mike McNeely said at the time of Heben’s arrest, “We have overwhelming evidence based upon video, cell phone records and interviews that the shooting did not occur in the West Market Plaza and that Mr. Heben made false allegations to us.”
